The magical moment that announced the most beautiful Cypriot woman, is the moment that this year’s winner of the beauty contest will certainly remember, Star Cyprus 2007 is Demetra Sergiou.

On Thursday 12th of July at Pavilion, the audience of the Pancyprian Official Beauty Contest Carlsberg 2007, enjoyed a spectacular evening with great musical entertainment, and summer mood. The sponsoring company Photos Photiades Distributors Ltd, and Sigma TV, who was responsible for the organisation, production, and broadcasting of the show, left the viewers with the best impressions since the evening was magnificent.

Host of the evening was the top model and TV hostess Vicky Kagia, that presented the Beauty Contest with liveliness and offered the viewers a wonderful evening with exceptional moments.

The winners
Demetra Sergiou was chosen Star Cyprus 2007, that except the enviable distinction, she won the new Peugeot 207cc Coupe Capriole, offered by M.P.M. Eurocars Ltd, general agents of Peugeot cars in Cyprus. Demetra Sergiou will represent our country to the Miss Universe pageant.

Dora Anastasiou was chosen Miss Cyprus 2007, Stephani Paraskeva was chosen Miss Carlsberg 2007, and Vesi Philippou was chosen Miss Mediterranean 2007, and they will represent Cyprus at the international pageants of Miss World, Miss Europe, and Miss International respectively.

Finally, Styliana Omirou was chosen as this year’s Runner-Up.
