The magical moment that announced the most beautiful Cypriot woman, is the moment that this year’s winner of the beauty contest will certainly remember, Star Cyprus 2008 is Klelia Yiasemidou.
On Thursday 10th of July at Pavilion, the audience of the Pancyprian Official Beauty Contest Carlsberg 2008, enjoyed a spectacular evening with great musical entertainment, and summer mood. The sponsoring company Photos Photiades Distributors Ltd, and Sigma TV, who was responsible for the organisation, production, and broadcasting of the show, left the viewers with the best impressions since the evening was magnificent.
Host of the evening was and TV hostess Betty Maggira, that presented the Beauty Contest with liveliness and offered the viewers a wonderful evening with exceptional moments.
The winners
Klelia Yiasemidou was chosen Star Cyprus 2008, that except the enviable distinction, she won the new Ford Focus CC, offered by Michaels Automotive Ltd, general agents of Peugeot cars in Cyprus. Klelia Yiasemidou will represent our country to the Miss Universe pageant.
Iosifina Sekki was chosen Miss Cyprus 2008 and she will represent Cyprus at the International pageant Miss World.
Finally, Demetra Makriyianni was chosen 1st Runner Up and Mari Vasiliou was chosen as this year’s 2nd Runner-Up.
The Pancyprian Official Beauty Contest Carlsberg is the only official beauty contest in Cyprus.
